Celebrating Alexis

Welcome, friends!

The amazing, one-and-only Alexis Mersel is turning fifty, so we're gathering in one of her favorite places on Earth. We've planned a relaxing, adults-only weekend of food, wine, and celebration — so come hungry, come ready to toast, and bring your dancing shoes. We hope you can join us!

P.S. Lots of (hopefully helpful) info is below, but don't hesitate to contact me directly with any questions!

The Weekend

Two Evenings in the Valley

Saturday afternoon

A wine tasting, perhaps

We're arranging a wine tasting on Saturday afternoon. We'll send details once they're finalized, but please let us know on your RSVP if you'd like to join!

Where to stay

Accommodations

We've reserved a room block at Carneros for Friday and Saturday nights. We recommend booking early — rooms are limited and the resort fills quickly in spring!

Getting there

Travel to Napa

Napa is reachable from four Bay Area airports. SFO and OAK offer the widest selection of flights; STS is closest to the valley if you can find a direct.

SFO

San Francisco International

Most flight options · ~1h 15min to Carneros

OAK

Oakland International

Strong Southwest service · ~1h to Carneros

SJC

San Jose International

Quieter terminal · ~1h 30min to Carneros

STS

Sonoma County · Charles M. Schulz

Closest to Napa · Delta and Alaska preferred · ~45min to Carneros

Shuttle service

Getting to and from SFO

We're planning to arrange a shuttle between SFO and Carneros on Friday afternoon and Sunday morning. Pickup times, capacity, and how to reserve a seat will be posted here once finalized. If you're flying into SFO, hold off on booking a car.

We hope you can join us
